DiyMint Sugar Scrub

Coconut oil and peppermint extract create a sweet-smelling sugar scrub that makes a perfect stocking stuffer.

• ½ cup coconut oil

• 1½ - 2 cups sugar

• 1 tablespoon peppermint extract

• 1 drop green food coloring

1. Place coconut oil in a bowl and microwave on HIGH 15-25 seconds until softened.

2. Start by adding 1½ cups sugar to the oil, along with the peppermint extract and green food coloring. Mix until ingredients are well combined and food coloring is evenly distributed. If mixture is too wet, add another ½ cup sugar until scrub is to desired consistency.

3. Spoon scrub into air-tight containers (such as a mason jar) and decorate with twine or ribbon.

HOMEMADE HOT CHOCOLATE KIT

• 3 tablespoons powdered creamer

• 3 tablespoons powdered milk

• 3 tablespoons powdered sugar

• 1½ tablespoons cocoa powder

• optional: marshmallows, for garnish

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Add ½ cup of the hot chocolate mix to 1 cup of boiling water in a mug and stir until completely combined. Top with marshmallows, if desired, and enjoy!

Add spice to a gift of plain votives with cinnamon sticks. Using a hot-glue gun, adhere sticks to glass. Then encircle with ribbon in earthy colors, such as sage and burnt amber. Perfect for winter!
